The Second Working Meeting of the Latin American Network of National Greenhouse Gas Inventories is starting tomorrow in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and will continue for three days (4-6 July). Over 35 participants are foreseen.

The meeting is an opportunity to take stock of the Network's activities undertaken in 2016 and 2017 and to plan for coming activities and products. During these daysexperts and government representatives will exchange experiences on national greenhouse gas inventories regarding quality assurance and control; information management; and standardization of related reporting.

This meeting is organized by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Government of Argentina in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment of the Government of Chile, with technical and financial support from the UN-REDD Programme.
