The Secretariat of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests (VGGT) is pleased to share with you the newly published edition of the Land Tenure Journal 2016/01:

This issue provides a geographically and technically diverse range of papers covering Europe, Africa, and Asia. The articles cover a variety of different situations where land tenure plays a key role in improving food security and reducing poverty. For example, learn more about customary land associations and sustainability issues in Papua New Guinea and addressing land conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo through a Green Negotiated Territorial Development approach.

The Land Tenure Journal welcomes articles on land tenure, land policy and land reform that have not been published in or submitted to any other journal. Authors are invited to write articles in English, French or Spanish. See more information in the publication (contacts: ).
