The UN-REDD Programme provides its partner countries with capacity building support on key REDD+ technical issues aligned with the UNFCCC Warsaw Framework for REDD+. This support is designed to enable developing countries to meet UNFCCC REDD+ related requirements to realize results based payments with results based actions for their verified emissions reductions.

This capacity building support is delivered through technical workshops, South-South knowledge exchanges, capturing and sharing of lessons learned, the REDD+ Academy, webinars, facilitation of communities of practice, sharing of knowledge products, etc. Much of this knowledge is curated through the UN-REDD Programme’s Online Collaborative Workspace – a free and open REDD+ knowledge platform.
