Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Paraguay have signed their National Programme Documents and received the first transfer of funds, marking the beginning of implementation of their Programmes. With this, 12 of the 13 countries with National Programmes approved by the Policy Board have finalized their National Programme Documents and entered into implementation. Read more.

Final signed National Programme Documents and revision matrixes showing how countries addressed the comments received by the Policy Board, independent reviewers and the Secretariat are posted on the corresponding workspace’s country pages for Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Paraguay.

The UN-REDD Programme congratulates its partners for reaching this significant achievement and looks forward to keep supporting countries in their REDD+ readiness efforts.
