Mexico shares its experiences and lessons learned from developing the monitoring system in the context of the Project “Reinforcing REDD+ Readiness and Enabling South-South Cooperation”. Other countries share experiences in the development of the South-South cooperation strategy in the Mesoamerican region, as well as its link to the regional needs assessment supported by the UN-REDD Programme and next steps in strengthening collaboration between countries to continue working on monitoring systems.
